Bombers Add Carr & Davis

WINNIPEG, MB., April 11, 2017    The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the addition of International quarterback Myles Carr, and International receiver Quinshad Davis.

Carr (6-2, 228, Texas AM-Kingsville, August 11, 1994 in West Covina, CA) spent two seasons at the helm for the Javelinas after transferring from Fresno State. Over those two years, he played in 23 games and threw for 4,995 yards and 52 scores. He also added six scores along the ground. As a senior, he connected on 64% of his passes and averaged just over 225 yards per game. He finished his college career ranking second all-time in school history for passing while throwing 31 touchdowns to just eight interceptions as a senior in 2016.

Davis (6-3, 215, North Carolina, May 14, 1994 in Gaffney, SC) spent part of last season on the club’s practice roster. He played four seasons with the Tar Heels, starting 47 of his 52 games. He finished his college career with a school record 205 catches for over 2,600 yards. His 25 touchdowns also mark a University of North Carolina school record. He attended camp with the Detroit Lions in 2016.
