Heritage Classic Transportation Plan

WINNIPEG, MB., October 21, 2016 –   With the amazing transformation of Investors Group Field to an outdoor hockey rink almost complete, fans will be looking to make plans to efficiently and safely get to and from the NHL Heritage Classic games this weekend.

The Transportation Plan for the NHL Heritage Classic has been kept consistent, for the most part, with what fans have become accustomed to for Winnipeg Blue Bomber games, ensuring a wide variety of available transportation options.

“This will be a great weekend for our city and province and for all those attending NHL Heritage Classic weekend at Investors Group Field,” said Wade Miller, President and CEO of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.  “We are proud to be hosting yet another world class event, since opening the stadium in 2013, with other successes during FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 and the 103 Grey Cup.”

As a special feature, Miller reminded fans that Spectator Plaza in U Lot will be open 4 hours prior to game time each day, to encourage fans with game tickets to come early and beat the rush in order to take in all the sights and sounds that the plaza has to offer.

Transportation options include:
