Eastern Final Sold-Out; Temporary Seats Now Available

The Winnipeg Football Club is proud to announce that the Eastern Final has completely sold-out, marking a record eighth straight sell-out at Canad Inns Stadium.

The Football Club has also announced that they will open up the temporary seats for the game, priced at $35.00.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Sunday afternoon with kickoff set for 12 Noon.  This is the first time Winnipeg has hosted an Eastern Final since 2001 when they beat the Tiger-Cats 28-13 to advance to the Grey Cup.

The first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive Thundersticks in order to make as much noise as possible when the defence is on the field.

A special fly-by will occur moments before the opening kickoff in order to commemorate the last ever game played at Canad Inns Stadium.

At halftime, a cheque presentation will be made to the Keeping Abreast Foundation in the total of $23,000 that was raised during the month of October through the Blue Bombers’ pink initiative.  That total is an increase of $6,000 that the Club raised last season.  The Winnipeg Police Pipe Band will also perform.

Fans looking for transportation to and from the game are encouraged to take Winnipeg Transit who are offering free transportation two hours prior to the game and up to end of service for fans who show their game ticket.  More information is available at http://www.bluebombers.com/page/getting-there

Fans wishing to purchase tickets in the temporary seating area can do so by visiting www.ticketmaster.ca or by calling 1-855-BOMBERS.
